Snow Days At Saint George

January was a busy and beautiful month at Saint George Classical Academy. Dr. Philip Mamalakis came and spoke to families about Christian parenting. Families were uplifted by the practical guidance he provided and it was wonderful to have both Saint George families and families who visited us for the first time. We are grateful to continue building a community and connecting people for the purpose of educating children.

Fr. Seraphim Solof visited us to celebrate the feast of Theophany and bless the school. Students enjoyed learning from him about the life-sustaining significance of water and the baptism of our Saviour. They sang and processed throughout the school: When Thou was baptized in the Jordan O Lord, the worship of the Trinity was made manifest.

This month we announced the launch of our high school which will be located on our campus in the parsonage of First Church Congregational Boxford. This historic New England home will house 9th and 10th graders beginning in September, 2025. Students will engage in seminar style humanities classes while having a robust math and science course of study including labs, astronomy, and programming, led by Dr. James Joyce.

Our beautiful campus proves once again to offer endless outdoor joy, this time with the winter snow! Students have been building and sliding and playing. The beauty of the natural world is truly a gift!
