Students Enjoy the Beauty of the North Shore

Located on the North Shore of Boston, The Academy is surrounded by incredible beauty. With access to the beaches, farms, trails, and rivers of the Trustees of Reservation, Audubon and Greenbelt properties, students have opportunities to learn within the created world.

This week our Middle School students traveled to Crane Beach, where they ventured through the dune trails collecting and classifying specimens as part of their life science class. With the guidance of their teacher, Mr. Joyce, students learned about biomes, classification and slowing down to truly enjoy nature as it points us toward God.
